Product Description
Waterwell Gel is a premium-grade bentonite (a sodium montmorillonite bentonite) that will yield to 220 bbl. Waterwell Gel viscosifier imparts viscosity, fluid loss control and gelling characteristics to freshwater-based drilling fluids.
Application/Function
Waterwell is used to increase viscosity and reduce fluid loss in water base drilling fluids. It is a cost-effective means of achieving viscosity, fluid-loss control and filter-cake quality in waterwell, air/foam drilling applications.

Recommended Treatment
Add Waterwell Gel in concentrations of 2-20 lb/bbl (6-50 kg/m³) to any active system. Mix slowly through a jet mixer or sift slowly into the vortex of a high-speed stirrer.

Safe Handling Recommendations
Utilize normal precautions for employee protection when handling chemical products. Use of standard PPE is recommended for employee comfort and safety. See Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) prior to use.
Package and Storage
25kg bags or according to customer’s requirement.
Avoid high-intensity extreme pressure and prolonged exposure to strong sunlight. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames.
