Product Description
PSI is a high cloud point additive designed for high salinity polyglycol systems. It can improve wellbore stability, lubricity, high-temperature filtration control, plus reduce dilution rates and bit balling. PSI additive is recommended for freshwater to high-saline polyglycol systems. While polyglycols are most effective when used in conjunction with an inhibitive-salt, non-dispersed polymer system, they can be used as additives in most water-base systems. PSI agent is acceptable for most applications specifying specifying low-toxicity additives.
Application/Function
PSI additive has application in polyglycol systems in fresh-to-high salinity make-up water and can be used in wells with high formation temperatures. When used properly, this high-cloud-point additive helps to stabilize troublesome shale by plugging shale pores, preventing the equalization of hydrostatic pressure away from the wellbore.

Recommended Treatment
Add PSI in concentration of 2.0 to 7.0 liters per 1000 liters to any system. Mix slowly through a jet mixer or sift slowly into the vortex of a high-speed stirrer.

Safe Handling Recommendations

Avoid high-intensity extreme pressure and prolonged exposure to strong sunlight. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames.
