Product Description
SMP-1 and SMP-2 are a sulfomethylated phenolic resin that is a brown free-flowing powder, as HTHP fluid loss control agent in most of water based drilling fluids.
Application/Function
SMP controls fluid loss in most of water based drilling fluids. SMP-1 is used in fresh and gentle brackish water based muds. SMP-2 is used in high brackish water based muds.

Recommended Treatment
Add SMP-1/2 in concentration of 20.0 to 30.0 kg/m³ (7.0 to 10.5 lb/bbl) to mud systems. Mix slowly through a jet mixer or sift slowly into the vortex of a high-speed stirrer.

Package and Storage
25kg bags or according to customer’s requirement.
Avoid high-intensity extreme pressure and prolonged exposure to strong sunlight. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames.
